Jack Beach is the Founder and Head Coach of Team Persevere. Jack is a USA Track & Field Level 1 Certified Coach. Jack is an RRCA Certified Coach. He is also a Team In Training Certified Coach. Jack coached walk and run marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay teams for Team In Training in 2006-07 and 2012-2013. Jack coached the Greater Maryland Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association's marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay team for its first three years (2008-2010).
Jack coached Fleet Feet Sports Baltimore teams at distances from 5K to half marathon from 2008-2012. Athletes in those programs successfully completed the Resolution Run 5K, the Cold Turkey 10K, the Clyde's American 10K, the "Making Tracks for Celiacs" 10K, the Maryland Half Marathon, the Frederick Half Marathon, the Ocean City Half Marathon, the IronGirl Columbia Half Marathon, as well as other half marathon events.
Jack was the head coach of the Park Heights Community Health Alliance's Walk-Jog-Run program in 2012.
Jack is a long-distance runner who has completed twelve marathons and twenty-two half marathons including the New York City Marathon twice, the Marine Corps Marathon three times, Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge twice (a half marathon on Saturday followed by a marathon on Sunday at Walt Disney World), the Baltimore Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay.
He has trained hundreds of athletes who have successfully completed races and set personal records at distances from 5K through marathon.
